High Risk Work Licence - Short Courses

SWQ Training offers high risk work licence short courses between 3-5 days, dependent on the unit of competency required. To get a High Risk Work Licence you must successfully complete formal training and assessment. Upon successful completion you will be given an AS1 form which will enable you to complete the online application for a QLD HRWL at https://www.worksafe.qld.gov.au/.

CPCCLDG3001A Licence to perform dogging

DG

This course includes training to perform dogging, involving slinging techniques, selecting and inspecting lifting gear and directing of the crane operator in the movement of the load when the load is out of view of the crane operator.

CPCCLRG3001A Licence to perform rigging basic level

RB

This course includes training to perform basic rigging work, involving the movement of plant and equipment, steel erections, hoists (including mast climbing hoists), placement of pre-cast concrete, safety nets and static lines, perimeter safety screens and shutters; and cantilever crane loading platforms.

CPCCLRG3002A Licence to perform rigging intermediate level

RI

This course includes training to perform rigging work at the intermediate level, involving rigging work at the basic level, rigging of cranes, conveyors, dredges and excavators, rigging associated with tilt slabs and demolition work, and dual lifts.

TLILIC0012 Licence to operate vehicle loading crane (capacity 10 metre tonnes and above)

This course includes training to operate a vehicle loading crane with a capacity of 10 metre tonnes or more, mounted on a vehicle for the purpose of loading and unloading such a vehicle, including the application of load estimation and slinging techniques to move a load.

TLILIC2001 Licence to operate a forklift truck

This course includes training to operate a forklift truck, including determining height and load capacity and shifting loads in a safe manner.

TLILIC2005 Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more)

WP

This course includes training to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more), involving the operation of a telescoping, hinged or articulated device to support a platform to elevate workers, equipment and materials.

TLILIC3006 Licence to operate a non-slewing mobile crane (greater than 3 tonnes capacity)

CN

This course includes training to operate a non-slewing mobile crane of greater than 3 tonnes capacity, incorporating a boom or jib that cannot be slewed, including articulated type mobile cranes and locomotive cranes.

TLILIC3008 Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 20 tonnes)

C2

This course includes training to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 20 tonnes). It encompasses the requirement for the non-slew mobile crane licence and the vehicle loading crane licence.

TLILIC4009 Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 60 tonnes)

C6

This course includes training to operate a slewing mobile crane up to 60 tonnes. It encompasses the requirement for the slewing mobile crane up to 20 tonnes licence.

TLILIC4010 Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 100 tonnes)

C1

This course includes training to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 100 tonnes) for licensing purposes. It encompasses the requirement for up to 60 tonnes licence.
