FWPCOT2237 Maintain chainsaws, FWPCOT2239 Trim and cut felled trees and FWPCOT2236 Fell trees manually are delivered in partnership with HSE (Health Security Education) RTO # 40907. This course includes training to understand the various parts and functions of the chainsaw, as well as training to understand on the correct use of the chainsaw and cleaning methods and operator maintenance. Participants will complete various cuts on felled trees and assess and manually fall small trees with low level of complexity.

This course includes training to test the working atmosphere, to determine if it is safe for the proposed work, involving the use of electronic test apparatus requiring the person to interpret readings and take action.

PUAWER008B Confind small workplace emergenices is delivered in partnership with Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO # 90909.

This course includes training to confine small workplace emergencies, which may include: a small fire that can be controlled using a nearby fire extinguisher; a chemical spill that can be controlled using workplace PPE and a small spill kit; or a workplace vehicle accident, where there is no significant injury or damage.
