Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control

ACDC

This course includes training to safely prepare and apply chemicals, including (but not limited to) transporting, handling and storing chemicals, as well as identifying and controlling weeds to comply with legislative requirements.

Introduction:

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to: apply for a Queensland Commercial Operator's Licence (ACDC Licence) through the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
On successful completion of assessment, a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment will be issued by SWQ Training

Target Audience:

This course is intended for any person required to undertake weed control activities, across a range of roles and industries.

Learning Outcomes:

  • This course is nationally recognised (accredited).
  • Participants who successfully complete all requirements will be issued with a Satement of Attainment for: AHCCHM304 Transport and store chemicals, AHCCHM307 Prepare and apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases & AHCPMG301 Control weeds
  • Participants will also be able to apply for a Queensland Commercial Operator’s Licence (ACDC Licence) through the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Foresty.

Learning Methods:

2-day face-to-face training sessions and final assessment.  Delivery length may vary dependent on client needs.
 
Successful completion of the unit of competency requires completion of theory and practical training as well as a competent result for the knowledge and practical assessments.
